Whinlatter is home to stunning views, fantastic walks, rare wildlife and Go Ape adventure play. It is also home to the longest purpose-built mountain bike trails in the Lake District. 

The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England, known affectionately as La’al Ratty meaning “little railway“ in olde Cumbrian dialect. Our heritage steam engines transport passengers from Ravenglass, the only coastal village in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Lake District National Park, to Dalegarth for Boot some 210ft above sea level. 

At the Aquarium we focus more specifically on the marine life that can be found in our coastal waters around the UK; however, we do also have a number of spectacular tropical fish tanks! There is also a fantastic cafe on site offering a wide range of hot and cold foods to cater for all tastes.

From Anaconda to Zebra there's a world of wildlife nestled in the Lakeland fells at our Wildlife Park. See over 100 animal species ranging from the cheeky Meerkats to endangered species like Lemurs Gibbons and Vultures.

Keswick is a 20 minute drive, which is a thriving tourist town full of restaurants, cafes parks and attractions.

Armathwaite Hall offers day passes for their luxurious spa with facilities including a 16 metre infinity edge pool, outdoor hot tub, exercise studio and gym.
